May

- A fun visit from Dad and Shauna
- A Cinco de Mayo ward party... followed by food poisoning for us (and about 1/4 of our ward!)
- A happy walk downtown complete with a stop for snowcones and dinner at the Bluebird(Landon's favorite restaurant -- where the familiar waitress greeted us with 'I know you all have been in before, because I recognize you...)
- A picnic at first dam
- Some crazy wind storms
- Springtime slowly appearing with bright beautiful colors, lots of rain, a few warm days, and lovely lunch break walks.
- Owen's first smiles! Such fun!
- Backyard playtime
- Landon loving bike riding
- Smithfield 'Health days' parade -- where all the kids there brought bags to hold the candy they collected, cheering for April at the finish line of her 10K
- Beautiful blossoms on our trees
- A Ray's Braves reunion at Andrea's - so fun to see these good friends!
- Swimming at the hotel pool, Dinosaur museum and Utah County errands
- Colds all around our family (not so fun!)
- Playgroup at the park (at last!)
- Farmers market
- Preschool time with Landon and Ellie
- Planting our garden
-A great visit from Winslow
- Sardine canyon - and our mountains too - back to the beautiful green I fell in love with
- Making summertime plans...

Little Imitator

Ellie is starting to really learn from Landon -- sometimes for good and sometimes not so much... She loves to do what he does and say the things she hears him say. Here are some of her latest 'Landonisms'

"If I'm still hungry, can I have some more after this?" (I'm pretty sure her concern for more food is not equal to Landon's but more she just likes to talk like her big brother :)

(After mom tells her no to a request) "But what if Dad says I can?"

"No! I don't want to go sleeping! I need to do my bed game!!" (This from a girl who will run to put herself to bed...)

She also loves to sing his favorite songs - 'Landon I love you', 'You've got a friend in me' and 'Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious'. Sometimes it just makes me laugh to hear Landon's phrases coming from Ellie -- especially when they are repeated with the right tone of voice and everything, but with no actual meaning behind them for her :)

Cowboy on Wheels

Cowboy Landon w/ Mom's rollerblades and a stroller to keep him standing while he rollerblades 'around the block'

"Hey Mom! That looks like Popcorn!"

We have two beautifully blossoming trees at last! On the way home from the park this morning, Landon pointed out our popcorn-popping trees, so we made our own popcorn trees for a fun after- nap project. Oh we are excited for Spring!!

One Month old!

One month old and happily still acting like a newborn. Owen's loving to cuddle up in the coziest ways, sleep, nurse, look around... we're sure loving this little guy!
