dun de de dah....

Animoto now has video!

And a story w/ USA Today about the big release - here.

Pretty exciting, and so fun to do too! :)

And here's a happy birthday Landon...

7 Months

This little sweetie is 7 months old!

She's had a big month w/ a visits from Aunt Jenny and Aunt April, a trip to California w/ lots of Grammie and Grandpa time (and April and Heather for a bit too), lots and lots of teething (poor thing!), sitting practice, a new crawling technique (lunge & drop...), new delicious foods to try, telling us about her world in mamas, dadas and nanas, successfully trying out the bike trailer, discovering biter biscuits (hooray for mommy's sanity thanks to these!)and still an abundance of sweetness and smiles and giggles.

California Vacation (Kathie's Animoto)

Getting back into things after 2 weeks of constant companions for Landon and Ellie (Grammie, Grandpa, Heather and April) (and having a baby girl w/ 4 new teeth at once!) has made for some busy days... some day I hope I can put up some fun pics and descriptions of our fun vacation time and all we've been up to lately, but for now -- here's a great Animoto from Kathie of our camping trip and vacation beginnings.

Picking up vocabulary

After kneeling for a long time (I think his legs must have fallen asleep...), Landon stood up and said,
"My legs! My legs feel so...stressful! I can't even walk!"

Silly :)

Happy Birthday Landon!

(Drew & Nathan's birthday present for Landon ;)

This little kiddo is three years old! As Landon's birthday was approaching, I felt kind of sad to think that my little boy wasn't going to be two anymore--how could he already be three years old?? (He also must have had some misgivings about letting go of being a two-year-old. Most days, he'll still tell you "I'm not three! I'm two!" or "I don't want to be three any more!!" :)

But oh what a happy little boy we have. Just full to the brim and overflowing with happiness and excitement and energy and curiosity.

Landon loves ---

running, jumping, bouncing, pretending
asking questions
playing and playing and playing and playing
climbing, swinging, wrestling, tackling
movie-watching, dancing, singing and singing
tickling and being tickled, saying silly words
talking and telling us all about the world
remembering, story-time, sitting on laps
laughing, smiling, setting things straight
hiking, walking, finding sticks
picking up rocks, seeing the river
learning, counting, ABC's
animals, cars, trucks and trains
climbing in trees, splashing in the bath
singing his 'love you' song
friends who will play and play and play
knowing he's made us proud, 'Hooray for Landon!'
understanding, figuring things out, telling us how things are
all of his favorite things - elephants, blue, the letter W...

Welcome Home!

(My favorite site to see after being away, Y Mountain means I'm home!)

Had a wonderful summer vacation the past couple weeks with the Brough's in California (more to come...) and now we're happy to back to our sweet little home. :)

Sweet Moment

I sat beside Landon at the piano today, playing and singing his favorite children's primary songs. What could be sweeter than hearing his little voice, singing "I have a family here on earth, they are so good to me. I want to share my life with them through all e-ter-ni-tee" and "Dear mother, all flowers remind me of you-ooooooooo"...
Sweet boy!
