I've been in super organizing mode lately. One of the jobs I tackled this weekend was cleaning out my box of activities 'to do with the kids someday'. I took out all the little arts and crafts things and put them in kid-friendly drawers in my craft room, then showed them to Ellie and Owen with their instructions to use them as much as they wanted but to leave the space as neat as they found it.
And about 15 minutes later, they raced back upstairs to show off their new clown attire made of foam stickers. Hooray for a little rearranging to get these things out of a jumbled up box and into a spot where these kiddos can imagine and create and play.
